Senator Chuck Poochigian Fifth District Court of Appeal Appointment

Fresno Chamber Position: SUPPORT

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed former State Senator Chuck Poochigian to the Fifth District Court of Appeal and the Fresno Chamber is urging the confirmation of his appointment.

Chuck Poochigian is well deserving of this appointment. His 12-year service in the state Legislature proved that he is committed to improving the quality of life for residents in California. He has always been a strong proponent of issues affecting the business and agriculture community. He also fought hard to protect the safety of citizens by writing numerous crime bills and fighting to preserve the “three-strikes” law.

Chuck Poochigian continues his public service through his work at the Fresno law firm of Dowling, Aaron & Keeler. He would continue to represent the public well if appointed to the state appellate court in Fresno.
