SB 1121 – Agricultural Worker Overtime

SB 1121 would treat agricultural workers the same as regular workers when it comes to overtime payment. Currently, agricultural workers may work 10 hours per day and 6 days a week, before overtime payment is required. Under this legislation, those limits would be reduced to 8 hours per day and 40 hours per work for regular pay. Hours worked beyond that would be on overtime payment.
