Shaun Lumachi, President of Chamber Advocacy publishes essay: "Advice from the Front Lines: Why I Donate to Political Campaigns" in a new University of California, Berkeley Institute of Governmental Reform book Win the Right Way: How to Run Effective Local Campaigns in California.

When I believe in candidates and their political views I donate to their campaigns. There are also times when I disagree with candidates on specific policies, but still make a donation based upon our friendship and my belief in them as a person.
